The old mill (de oude molen) Colijnsplaat. Holland
So you love windmills. Well I`ve some in stock
This ``The Old Mill`` A Round stone ground sailor circa 1727.
The mill was formerly known as ancient craft mill owned by the Princes of Orange. For a long time it was built on the current mill unknown. In 1598 a mill was built, but it seemed, considering the type of construction, it is unlikely that this is the year of the current mill could be. 1727 was also called and it shows, to pass it was established in 2009, right. Further major changes were in 1958/1959 a restoration and in the 90s a recovery to turn the mill.
The name "Old Mill" has to do with the arrival of a new mill that was built later in the village.
I can visualize you smiling when you saw how many people associate Holland with the windmills! If you have photos of them as stock-on-hand, you can entertain your followers and save money on fuel for your car!
Beautiful collage of incredible shots. Your country is well-known for these mills. There are two mills similar to this in Malta but the stone building is squarish.
@Weezilou That`s often the one day a week I go to the country.
We have a holiday resort called Ode Molen - very popular indeed. and yes there is a windmill there
