A view from both sides of this field in opposite directions. The green wall with the trees is an old dike you can drive on as this is also the road.

This is such an excellent way for us to understand your landscape with dikes and lowland in Holland! ...I'm soon to be very short on time to write comments, though I'd like to post my pictures. We leave for the summer on Thursday! It came around fast this year!

@pyrrhula Thursday, Chicago... the 10th to North Carolina and the 13th to Lunenburg! Then our first friends arrive on the 18th! I think we'll be busy awhile! I NEVER think of comments as " a duty"...I love to look at pictures and share some thoughts. We are with the family up the coast right now, and I'm about to make meringues with my grandson... Not enough hours in a day for everything! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
