Neeltje Jans 2 by pyrrhula

Neeltje Jans 2

In fact, there are three lockable waterways between the mainland and two small islands (Neeltje Jans and the Roggenplaat.). In storm weather, these passages can be closed so that the high water level does not come ashore. On this pic. you can see two of them. (All three is not to be captured by the long distance and no place to stay)

Very dramatic looking clouds. I bet the wind turbines will be spinning frantically when the storm arrives.
