A party? where is the party? by pyrrhula

A party? where is the party?

To my best knowledge I can find the Branta canadensis canadensis (grote Canadese - Greater Canada Goose) and the Branta bernicla ( Rotgans - Dark-bellied Brent Goose) Gooses.
Those gooses become a problem for our farmers no way day`s. They becomes so many that they eaten to much of the agriculture of the farmland. The farmers get a compensation from the governement for the damage they`ve made.
Haha, love you title. Great shot and interesting information too Ferry

The light hightlighted their heads and wing feathers. The Canadian Geese here are also a nuisance.

What a gaggle of geese..we have no red necks here, no pun intended, I think it's great that your government compensates the farmers.

Ze zijn overal, ook op het veld voor ons huis. Daar zien we soms ook reeën (veel mooier...)

I agree with Bruni, it is good that the government compensates farmers. I like the view beyond the geese too!

Beautiful scene, Pyrrhula. The farmers are lucky that at least they are compensated for their losses.

Great title Ferry. I imagine that in such large numbers, they could do a lot of damage to farmland :)
