Curiosity got the better of this ginger cat relaxing in the sunshine in this tree trunk on the bank of the River Itchen yesterday afternoon in Winchester & I was lucky to get this shot.
Pussy looks familiar - she isn't a paid professional model is she? Ha ha
I always appreciate the humour you bring to your photos as well as the contrasting colours. The reflection of the tree's canopy is a pleasant surprise after you look past the feline heroine.
@creativeamateur Paula, thank you. Guess not the same cat, as there's about 8 miles between the trees - but how strange to see a ginger cat in a tree twice within the space of four days!!
@scatz@boogie@armorel - the photo does make the cat seem a bit precarious but just, I think, as it looked at me - when it had its back to me i.e. most of the time, it looked fine!
