I-Spy

I spied this snail on the leaves of a hellebore in a pot but it was only after I loaded it up to the computer that I saw he was starting to spy on me. I quite liked his burnished shell.
This is an amazing capture Hazel WOW a definite FAV for me

@sparrowphotography

Jules, thank you! I can just about tolerate snails in their shells but can hardly look at a slug!!!

Really nice detail!

Looks much more appealing in the photo. I like the silvery body, and the spiral is so clear.

Great macro, this snail appears a little shy. I found a whopper of a slug in my garden the other day. I'm glad I did get a shot of it now :)

Great macro, we don't get many snails in our garden, the blue tongue lizards eat them, but we do get the occasional slug. fortunately, the kookaburra's eat them too.

Incredible macro.

great macro shot he would be quite handsome if he didn't leave a slime and munch through so many of my plants so it colours my thoughts of him

Great close up showing its colours and pearly shell. Horrible things leaving their trails everywhere and eating the best plants

@wendyfrost @pinkpaintpot

Yes, I agree with you both. The ones in our garden seem to think we put plants in just for them and we had to stop growing French marigolds for which they had a particular affection!
