guess who ate the fatballs by quietpurplehaze

guess who ate the fatballs

The birds have mostly ignored our new bird feeder. Then we noticed the fatballs were suddenly disappearing.

Squirrels are not stupid.

It's raining cats and dogs here this morning. Ray has just gone out with Jinks. Oh, he's just come back in again as Jinks refused to walk. Can't say I blame him!
Squirrels are so clever. They seem to be able to find the bird's food. Cute shot here Hazel.

There are still not many birds in my garden there must be a lot of berries around still. A lovely capture of your clever squirrel .

Great shot Hazel - he looks as he has found his heaven !! The squirrel who visits my garden seems much wilder and I only ever see him scampering across the top of the wooden fence ! No rain at the moment here but a dull damp day !

Oh this little chap is so cute, what a fabulous shot ...you certainly captured the moment ! He looks so guilty!

@beryl

Ray just tried to take Jinks out but was back in 2 mins as he refused to walk in the pouring rain.

It's a horrible day today here, too. Our regular squirrel visitors are sitting by the feeder trying to get shelter. Nice shot

@gigiflower

Sam, in my pic just above the squirrel's head you can just see a fat ball. For what they are made of see: http://shopping.rspb.org.uk/suet-balls-bumper-box-of-150.html

Molly, thanks. These frames are on a program called FastStone - some are a bit way out but I've found a few which I use regularly.

@quietpurplehaze Hmm, if I were a squirrel I'd probably go after those too. Sounds like quite a delicacy.
