another view: St Cross almshouses and Norman church

Tidying my computer photo folders yesterday, I found that I had already taken a shot at St Cross as suggested in constructive criticism by some of my followers of this one:

So here it is for comparison. Any comments/comparisons are welcomed.

Fav for this classic shot of a scene that has likely not changed in half a millenium.

I like this shot too. You can see more of the church, and then you have the bonus of the creek, which is really nice. Lovely capture.

Well they are both different but if I had to pick I would choose the other one as I like the tree & you can see more of the church & alms houses. The stream is nice in this one though Hazel so im not sure.....we have seen both so judge them as two different shots.

A wonderful capture

My pick would be the other one with the tree. I like the perspective, makes you feel like you are right there.

every picture you post is looking "better" on the "better scale" Hazel.
Can you bob down a bit (or stand in the stream lol) , to get that branch a little higher :)

I like the composition of this one. And is that a cow on the left? Nice!!

@olivetreeann

Yes, a cow - there were 4 cattle altogether and I found they are an old English breed.
