Light and shadow in the interior of Chichester Cathedral. This is my favourite cathedral, Norman simplicity with a few additions.
It also struck me that a cathedral is a wonderful venue for photography as, apart from so many shots to be taken, there is always somewhere to sit comfortably and change the lens!
Good to see my robin on the bird feeder and my cat in the churchyard on PP, many thanks for all views, comments and favs.
lovely shot, but I would have cropped it to the pillars on the right to draw your attention more to the spiral staircase. the right of the picture isn't really needed.
Stunning Hazel & I particularly like the contrast of the stone pillars & the rather more modern black spiral staircase. They marry well together! Fave.
I am not much in to churches,I do believe but the Architecture is just amazing I just find the stone churches cold and the modern ones are warmer thats just me great photo and good use of the light fav:)
Interesting comment: I do have such a shot too but decided I preferred this one!
I love it. There are so many beautiful artworks including the Chagall window.
