Sunday morning by quietpurplehaze

Sunday morning

sun shining - washing on the line - Ray reading his book - Jinks snoozing indoors.....

I've managed, for 4 days, to stick to my resolution to post only one photo a day on 365!
Ah - sounds a very relaxing Sunday. Nice portrait too!

Nice portrait. Is there a reason for posting only one photo a day? I love the diversity of your pictures.

Great qualities in this shot, lovely tones and the concentration on his face.

@gijsje

Bep, it's more for me than anything as I'm usually lucky enough to receive several comments on each pic which, of course, I like to read and then to comment on others' photos. It becomes a bit all-engrossing and lately I've been quite weary having a bad back too which drains energy. It's good for me on the whole to have a narrower focus of concentration. Hope this explains! Thanks for asking. (Maybe I'll be flexible and post more on some days - no self-control you see!!!)

Lovely capture, very relaxed :)

Super shot of Ray, he looks very relaxed taking in the sun.

I only post one photo a day too. I did have a topics folder for a while, but found that it was very time consuming. Plus also even though people used to look at both pictures I am sure it was time consuming for them too.

Thanks for adding your voice to mine, Babs. I think that sometimes folk feel they have to look at shots out of 'loyalty'. We all need to keep 365 under control!!!!! I think perhaps only posting one photo a day makes us think more carefully what that photo will be.

This explains a lot, Hazel. I agree, commenting is time comsuming. Especially when English is not your native language. My dictionary is always within reach!

I understand where you are coming from Hazel. Commenting can be so time consuming, but sometimes it's just too hard to choose a single shot :)

awesome portrait!
sounds like you had a relaxing day

I agree, I mostly post only one photo a day, have a 2nd folder, for challenges of if its something special. Post on 2nd folder once in a while

Nice portrait, like your processing

I have only been posting one photo a day for quite a while now Hazel & I much prefer it. All eggs in one basket! To be honest I prefer to comment on only one photo a day too as its less time consuming. I usually look at the posts from one person & then pick the one I like the best to comment on.
I really like this photo of Ray & love the sight of your sheets in the background! Gives a very personal touch!

@onewing I agree Babs, that's why I only post one a day too!

@happypat

All eggs in one basket is a good way of expressing it! Thanks, as ever, for your comments. It was a good drying day!

Great candid portrait of Ray!

Lovely candid capture Hazel, Ray concentrating on the book unaware of your camera:)

@pcoulson

Well I think I did hear a sort of groan and I said 'I'm just practising.'

Great shot of Ray. Looks a guy to me you can have a drink with.
I protect myself from spending to much time on 365 by doing one pic. a day and only send a comment when I`ve receive one.

Bit uncanny. I flipped back from the starling and it look like a bird metamorphosing into a man! Reminiscent of a Roald Dahl story...

@pyrrhula

Good advice, Ferry - I have to keep control of what I do in order to keep well and I can only too easily get 'carried away'.
