I find that my dad has 'hijacked' my 365 post again today:

the front cover of the recently pubished book of his wartime experiences

the last little diary which came to light in his effects after he died and which documents two months in 1945: May when he was waiting in Czechoslovakia to get home; June at home and engaged in all the usual domestic activities

the grey metal dog tag he had to wear as a PoW (this gave me the 'creeps' and it is in my nephew's possession for safekeeping)

thanks again to Babs for her post yesterday after her copy arrived https://365project.org/onewing/365/2017-07-05

and to everyone for the heartfelt and sincere comments
A great combination of your Dads diary and dog tag with you book Hazel it must make you sad to see his possessions from that time.
