Snooks in seasonal gear by quietpurplehaze

Snooks in seasonal gear

My good friend Ellie sent me this photo from Aldeburgh in Suffolk.

Somebody has knitted/kitted out the statue of the beloved GP's beloved dog, Snooks, in some winter warmers.

See my original post of Snooks here:

This is the piece of information about Snooks which has stuck in my mind: (he) got his name because the family ate tinned snook, a sort of fish, from Africa during the Second World War.
Love this and the story that goes with it

Ah, Snooks! I love that statue. This is brilliant fun to have kitted him out in warm clothing.

I remember your earlier photo. Isn’t this just a lovely idea? Makes him look real.

Probably appreciated by a short haired dog as Snooks appears to have been. : )

I remember your photo - he looks a little warmer here :) Amazing how some dogs get their names. Ours are just plain old human ones!

@mandygravil

Yes, he looks a bit bare by comparison in the original shot. And yes, names are always interesting. Jinks' kennel club name was Crowneast Jingle Jinks so we settled on Jinks which, I think, suited him perfectly!
