a shot of Salisbury Cathedral

A pre-loved shot converted to b&w: texture, pattern, tones, shapes, symmetry.

Fascinating, those angles work so well as the main subject is straight. Very well done. I love the repeating patterns of the flower in the stonework.

VML how the trees confuse the brain, aka my brain, so that I see the perspective completely disoriented.

i like the foreground trees, i shouldn't as they sort of break composition rules, but there is something dynamic about them :)

I think I read somewhere that rules are made to be broken - but I wasn't breaking them on purpose!!!!!
