We parked in the New Forest to visit a photographic exhibition of trees: beautiful large-scale colour prints.
The moorland area near the car park was overwhelmed with cows and ponies grazing, and a few donkeys, sometimes braying loudly enough to frighten you out of your wits.
I saw this foal as Ray parked the car and got a shot of it and the mare suddenly appeared as if from nowhere to make this 'tableau'.
A little post processing: small crop, clone and heal of a couple of unwanted shadows on the grass and a 'play' with the lighting, and I was happy.
