I agree with the sign too. We do have one doggy beach locally and all dogs are welcome there. There are also drop off bins for any little parcels the dogs leave behind.
Most people are responsible at picking up after their dogs, but you will always get some who don't care if kids or anyone for that matter tread in their remains. So I prefer to keep most of our tourist beaches free from dogs.
Nice image. Agree with the sentiment too especially if you have children and we have two large dogs. Fortunately there are dog friendly beaches and then its down to choice where people go.
Same rules on the main beaches in Blackpool but they can go on Clevelys beach & the south shore one at Squires Gate. Good rule! Dogs do love a romp in the sea though so glad there are places to go. Lovely flowers along that beach hut.
