the yellow car

An elderly gentleman was parking his Morgan 4/4 near to our car so I asked if it was OK to take a photo. He was fine with that.

Then I asked if he minded me showing the number plate. He was also fine with that. But I decided against, as you can see.

Then I wondered if he wouldn't like his photo taken with his car - which he wouldn't, so no stranger's portrait.

He was very friendly and told us a bit about the car, which I have forgotten as a car to me is a car is a car..............

But I thought this yellow car warranted a post - so clean, smart and bright on a grey morning.

An RAF friend of ours when we lived at Henlow had a Morgan and he used to wear a WW2 leather flying helmet complete with goggles when he drove it open top round camp. We used to call him 'The Fly'
