Sylv and I went out for one of our 'from time to time' lunches. After the meal, the waitress saw me setting up the camera to take a shot of Sylv and asked if we would like her to take both of us.
We said thanks very much and she took a few. I thought the time appropriate to see if she would be in my strangers' project.
But she, young and pretty, was adamant that she did not make a good photo and politely but firmly refused.
Backing out of my space slowly (thank goodness) I suddenly heard a loud 'clunk' and got out to find I had reversed into a tree - which somebody had inconsiderately allowed to grow in the middle of the car park.
No harm done, thankfully, to my new car, whose newly installed parking sensors did not even start to activate until after the event.
Just a few bits of fungi growing on the tree had transferred to the rear of the car.
I’ve not heard of that Peter. The parking sensors have been tested since and found OK so hopefully it was a one off. Thanks for the thought.
Jackie, thank you: “The spirit is willing but.....”
Oh dear!!!!
