Probably the only adjective given in the description to explain this challenge which can apply to my shot is 'candid.' I am not a street photographer. It's all too busy, complicated and fragmented for me.
My opinion is that you did a good job. I think the b&w helps to reduce the distraction and most of the crowd is in the distance. You have a very nice capture of the musician. My favorite spot for “street” photography if it means candid is in an art museum. I have found the people to be so engrossed in what they are looking at that they don’t notice me and the art work helps to isolate them even when fairly crowded.
I love street photography, it’s my thing but sadly do t much have the opportunity to practice it especially at the moment! Unusual to see a trombone player busking!
@quietpurplehaze I think it’s because I have lived in the middle of a field for years that I like cities ....a change but as long as it’s temporary! My idea of bliss is a city break preferably by train!
A very well composed street image. I like it. I love looking at street photography but so far, lack the opportunities and the comfort level to try much.
Thank you for your comments - and the info,
That’s interesting. It’s what I dislike the most!!
If he is in line with other buskers I have had conversation with, it's not a lot.
So kind, thank you Phil. (Hope you and yours are well.)
Oh yes, the train would be the key - remember the mask now!!
Jackie, think I like it a bit more - now other people do! Hope you are both well.
