Because my arthritis sometimes disturbs my sleep and I then, after Ray brings up the morning tea,(and a hot wheatbag for me) fall asleep again for one or even two hours, I don't get dressed very early - to say the least!
Well since we moved here I don’t get going that early either! We only have a bath at the moment so Harry uses it at night & me in the morning so I tend to hang around after breakfast sometimes unto 10am! As a farming family I am ashamed at my lazy ways but it’s not like anyone going to visit is it Hazel so we’re pretty safe!
This reminds me of the bed jackets we used to wear, I remember having a bed jacket to wear in hospital after our eldest was born.
Lovely capture with your favourite colour. I am not an early riser any more but always feel a little guilty later in the day when I have done nothing and then think what's the point leave until tomorrow which never actual arrives.
Milanie, thank you and I guess one probably has to know it to understand it. I feel for you too. I do get better sleep than I was getting but still, as this morning sometimes have to rise before 6 a.m. as I am tossing and turning. It disturbs one's partner too.
I've always liked an afternoon siesta! What is a bit strange now is that I can fall asleep sitting in a chair without knowing that I am going to fall asleep. Recently my husband had to grab a cup of tea I was holding. Have given up driving! Thanks for kind words.
Wendy, you probably have done something, rather than nothing. We are retired, after all. And never coming is the beauty of tomorrow, or the manana syndrome, I think!
Now I'm feeling deprived as I never remember having a bedjacket to wear, even in hospital after giving birth!! For me, the longer I leave it getting dressed, the less I feel like doing it.
So interesting how the blend of soft and focus is "tied together" both literally and metaphorically to represent that person you are. Put together. Even if it's a late morning start. You are very lucky to have a deliver-er or warmth and tea :)
Thank you Junko for your thoughtful and therefore interesting comment. I am indeed lucky for the tea and wheatbag - and various other offerings during the day.

I agree that Covid has not helped. If I've not slept well, I drink my cup of tea Ray brings up and go back to sleep for an hour or so.
Not much I think, Pat.
