in the walled garden

On our recent visit to Mottisfont Abbey, we spent good time in the sun in the walled garden.

The roses and irises are beautiful at this time of year.

I took a photo of a gardener on a NT visit once. He agreed to it but was a bit shy - so whether one would come to your garden, I'm not sure!!!
