The church with the temporary 'stained-glass floor'
See my shot for 'decoration' This church, in Ars-en-Re, is very ordinary, I think, apart from its gothic steeple which is painted black and white to be visible as a navigation aid for sailors.
This part of the island is narrow and the land very flat.
Brilliant idea to paint the church steeple! The main part of the church looks pretty ancient. Nice collage and wonderful blue sky to show the steeple off.
