Neither do I Hazel !! great find though - who in their right mind would just leave their dog unsupervised -- he could be stolen ,accused of biting someone for compensation !!!
You do find the most interesting things to photograph! I agree about the dogs. You see a lot of them tied outside stores around here. I can't think it's a good idea.
Great find, it must be old as it says 'GR' all the new ones are 'ER'. You probably have to leave your dog there to send because he wont fit in the post box :-)
When we first had Jinks there was some dognapping from their own back gardens, also from cars - so I was never going to take any chances.

But in England, they are not allowed everywhere - a holiday involves forward planning as to where you will be able to eat with your dog etc.
