... and it's a lovely day here in the south of England, with temperatures in the low 20s, blue sky, white-sheep clouds. Each day recently at dinner Ray has jokingly (and hopefully) asked if there is crumble for pudding so today is the day I'm going to buy some apples and make one. It makes sense as there will be a lamb casserole cooking in the oven. While it was scorching hot, I didn't really have the enthusiasm for cooking anything but the essentials. (And I understand if anybody thinks that apple crumble is an essential.)
A very, very beautiful capture of this wonderful butterfly. That lamb casserole that`s the essential for me. And if it`s big enough I don`t need/want more
Thank you for your kind comments, Ferry. It was good: lamb with onions,, carrots, in the casserole, potatoes, sliced, layered and cooked in milk and spring cabbage.....
Rosie, for the fav, thank you, and for the apple crumble, if you can get here say 8.30ish, you are very welcome!
Thanks, Ivan, I'm always confusing my butterflies!
