A last sight of the River Clyde

as we took off from Glasgow International Airport. We plan to be back!

Home now again but have a few more photos to share.
A magnificent river & lovely to see it so clearly defined Hazel...clever you , obviously flying home, no long car journeys for you!!!

Long car journeys are definitely a no-no for me. The flight is just one hour from Southampton to Glasgow, hire car at the the other end - what's not to like?! Ray was in the window seat ducking out of sight as I suddenly saw this shot!

@quietpurplehaze And just think of the fuel you saved plus the cost of it....a no brainier to fly really it's just that we never think of it!!

Thanks everyone for your interest. This was one lucky shot: as I stashed my handbag under the seat in front of me for take-off, I just thought to take my little Lumix out as I remembered getting one or two shots from plane portholes. And there was this view a few minutes after the plane started rising. I just had to straighten the horizon which was, perhaps understandably, a bit skew-whiff.
