brilliant shot of the architecture and nice composition with the group of people. I love photographing churches but it hard to make one stand out from another. you have added interest which makes the viewer want to stop and look.
Linda, I spent a lot of care taking this shot to include the spire and afterwards realised it wasn't very interesting and cropped the whole thing right down to emphasize the visitors! Thank you for your comments.
wow! i was there in 1990 and my hosts couldn't believe i explored the place for one whole day. i asked them to come pick me up in the afternoon and it was almost 10 in the morning when they brought me there. i'd like to go back and visit it again one of these years. all that history to take in, oh, goodness, i could live there forever! great shot, the details are so crisp i could almost smell the air!
