lavender's definitely blue by quietpurplehaze

lavender's definitely blue

I'm posting an overlooked shot from last month - lavender against a black painted pub door. We sat in the garden with Jinks who used to like sitting under pub tables but who now will not go in a pub since we met Clare in one at New Year and something frightened him.

Strange how he knows the difference between a domestic residence and a pub - the smell of the beer, perhaps.

That's another great image Hazel, with an interesting and arresting frame. Where did you find it?

Poor Jinks......perhaps he visited the pub on his night out & got a hangover! Bit of a nuisance in the winter if you want a meal out...I have visions of you wrapped up eating your meal with gloves on outside!
Lavender is my favourite flower.....so long lasting too!

Oh, never thought of that!! He can just stay at home but in the summer it's nice to go for a walk and maybe have a pub lunch inside if too cold to sit out but Jinks is lagging behind on long walks anyway now, unfortunately.

Love this - frame really brings out the contrasting colors. Lavender grows well around here, but I don't dare have any in the garden. Allergies!!
