As 'purple' is a word of the day this month, I've decided to see how many days I can find something purple in the house to post in my second album.
We've had a framed print of a rather faded vase of flowers in our bathroom for a while and I finally got round to replacing it with some material from Laura Ashley, whose designs really appeal to me. I've shown a flower from the material together with the finished item hanging on the wall.
Difficult to photograph because of the glass, window opposite etc but the flash did the job.
This is an amazing match Hazel....good old Laura! I mean to go in there tomorrow as she has a 30% sale on everything at the moment. I need a couple of table lamps. I would choose this material & that picture is just you!
First I thought it was (a painting/pic.) made of wool . A kind of embroidery , like my Mom use to make. Very nice pic. and capture. Love the insert to see the whole. Great purple for the theme

Yes, I do have purple towels (bit faded now) and a big chunk of amethyst Ray gave me as a gift some time - watch for its photo!
Yes, the large flower does look grainy as if it has been hand crafted.
