in waiting
I spied this mistletoe growing on a low branch of an espalier fruit tree in a National Trust garden.
Presumably the birds have eaten all its berries and it won't get any more in time for Christmas.

Lovely mistletoe and capture. I have only ever seen it growing very high up in trees.

Me, too until now. And last week I saw a very small tree in the Asda car park with a huge ball of mistletoe on it absolutely covered in berries. No camera with me and we don't often visit Asda but if we do I'll take a camera along!
