They are in UK, in Hampshire - white with a dark red splodge inside each petal, first time I've seen them.

Didn't see any guard dogs! We did try to get into the field for a macro but the gate was very secure.

Great shots of those beautiful fields. To get opium from them you have to carve each seedbal so they get bleeding. Ours are grow for the seeds and gladly no fencing than natural. ( A ditch or dike)

Definitely in colour for flowers. There are opium poppy farms in Australia, but what a job they had getting permission to grow them.
