Lovely lead in lines and monotones works well, could possibly have lightened the blacks a tad to bring out more detail in the trees and couple still a great image Hazel:)
@quietpurplehaze I see the world in colour so my photographs reflect life very seldom do I take monochrome shots, so you could well be correct Hazel, that's possibley why my monochrome images never win any competitions, lol:)
In recent years, as one of 3 'girls', we've met up for girly visits to places that we don't know or want to revisit. One of our recent venues was Winchester...none of us had been before and we all loved it. I think one of the highlights for me was attending Matins, held in one of the side chapels. Warm welcome, considerate and curious, sympa and genuinely interested. The other was a tour of W College. If you didn't get the chance, and have another opportunity, do go. We were 3 tourists and it was an enriching visit. Can't recommend it enough.

That's funny again Peter - I darkened this shot! We obviously have slightly different preferences in b&w!!
Peter I don't think it is a question of right or wrong and I also see the world in colour. Monochrome is starting to get a hold on me!
