A pond over the fields (aka Knowle Park). The infants school children apparently named it. I was amused to see it full of water lilies.....

I was puzzled too so glad @peadar asked! Stunning buttercup pond even so, the water lilies look so beautiful & not at all like common old buttercups!

I wonder if it was named when the marsh marigolds were out in the spring as they look like huge buttercups. Lovely capture with the beautiful water lilies
