zero sugar by quietpurplehaze

zero sugar

This can had been left on a adjacent table in an eatery the other week. I thought zero sugar was good so I idly picked it up to have a look.

Then I looked at the back:

taurine
sucralose
benzoic acid
D-glucuronolatone (hope I've spelt that correctly/got the right no of syllables!)
inositol

to mention but a few

And the final warning: too much caffeine in the drink to be consumed by children, pregnant or breastfeeding women.....
Sounds and looks so yummy!;

Well - that’s zero sugar for you! Disgusting ingredients and loaded with caffeine! Good pic though.

No sugar but a load full of rubbish ...

Perhaps better off with the sugar at least it is natural.

Glass of sparking water, I think!

So much rubbish there would be no room for sugar. Sparkling water definitely

Crikey! Be warned!
April 23rd, 2018
.. at least it didn't have sugar !
April 23rd, 2018
Well really, what a con!
April 23rd, 2018
It's a lie, zero calories it says but I calculate 5 calories per can!
April 23rd, 2018
Scary stuff!

Cool picture.

I sometimes wonder if anything is truly 'good'!

@jamibann

Well I would say you are right - some things just better than others!

Also beware of products labelled low fat! Also If the contest list has more than 5 ingredients its best avoided! Also if it contains palm oil ..... I could go on!! BTW this shot makes me feel sick so you have obviously made a good job of it! :-)

@yrhenwr

Yes, I think low fat = more sugar. I note your other caveats, thank you. Hope you have recovered from viewing my diptych!
