A huge thank you for all the views, lovely comments and favs. Jinks was certainly a character and perhaps best described as a lovable rascal. I sometimes felt he could read my mind. He came into our family as a companion dog in 2003 - a puppy of 14 weeks - to help me recover after I had been on the psychiatric ward for 4 months with a bipolar episode. Cross fingers I have not been ill since so guess it was a good move. It was very hard when he died but we have decided, after much deliberation, not to try to replace him. He'll always be a part of me.
