le chateau de Goulaine - le 14 juillet

We visited this 15th century castle today - the third during our week. It's described as a typical Loire castle.

I was hoping to find a typically French shot to post for Bastille Day but maybe this is as French as it gets.

As well as the architectural photos ops there was a glasshouse full of the most beautiful and co-operative butterflies. Watch this space!

We go home tomorrow - would be great to come back some time.....
