Ice Crystals

Have you ever wondered what -43 looks like????
This is a photo of our lake with fish huts early this morning when I was headed out to work. Ice crystals form in the air which gives this photo a hazy look. In the background the sun is slowly rising, however, it did not bring much warmth to the day, another bitterly cold one tonight!

Thank you for your comments and favs on my photo "Frosted Over" from yesterday, I really appreciate them.

Brrrrr! Now that is cold! It is only -20 degrees Celsius here. I would not like it any colder! This is beautiful. I love the golden glow on the lake.

Well I have to admit Kathy that I have not wondered very often what -43 deg looks like but now I know. And I don't think I want to see it in person. I'm quite happy for you to see it and take pics for us to see. Lovely shot

Wow, -43? Sounds awfully cold but it looks much warmer thanks to the yellow tones. Great capture.

@gilbertwood Yes Denise they do fish out there in all temperatures, they have small woodstoves to keep them warm, the fish huts stay on the lake until the end of March.
