Mountains of Ice

The problem is the lake is still frozen but the river continues to break up. As a result these ice forms keep piling up, some opaque and some crystal clear. Nature's work of art!

Thanks so much for the visits, comments and favs, I was thrilled to see 2 of my photos made it to the PP, "Iceberg" and "Holly Framed", I really appreciate your support.
I like this capture. Hope everything melts soon and safely.

This is an incredible sight and so well captured. The pools of light on the ice are beautiful. Wish you could send some of those hunks of ice/water to us in California.

Fantastic Kathy and certainly a sight we don't get to see.

Hmmm. Work of art or destructive force. I was chatting with a fellow at the lake and he said the ice took out some docks yesterday. Yikes.
