Indian Head at Killarney Bay

Having heard about this rock face from the locals my husband and I made a point to try to find it. It was a lengthy paddle and there were wind gusts enough to create white caps, but I was determined. This is what we found and we were told when we returned from the paddle that a huge rock section had fallen off, thus loosing his chin! Hope you can still identify the profile from which it is named.

Thanks so much for your comments and favs on yesterdays photo "Three's Company" I really appreciate it.
Nicely captured (I can see him)

It is still distinctly a face- his chin disappears into the hillside now. That was worth the effort it took to find it. Great shot!

I can certainly see his nose (I think) through the trees. Glad the rock fall didn't happen while you were there.
