For the past week every evening, over a 1000 geese converge upon this island. You can hear their honking sounds both in the evening and the early morning. We feel like we are at an airport with them flying over head in search of a landing pad!

Gorgeous start to the day - what terrific golden colors. Imagine the honking is rather loud - our 30-50 that come in each morning can be heard from some distance away. Unfortunately, they land on the grassy area in the center of the trail and make the walking path rather like walking in a mine field these days! Do love your shot. Fav
