@milaniet Hi Milanie I had the SX40 before I got the SX60. The SX60 is slightly heavier and larger than the SX40. However the SX60 has a stronger telephoto and it has 16.1 mega pixels along with wifi that I use occasionally. The optical zoom on the the 60 is 65x and the 40 was 35x a noticeable difference. I'm very happy with it and my husband is very happy with his SX40 hand me down Ha Ha!! :)
