I'm enjoying the new birds in the backyard, this purple finch really stands out right now with his raspberry plumage!

Nice, I'm seeing these too. Actually it's house finches I have seen. I had to get the Cornell University bird ID app to help me to learn all the species I never heard of, much less seen.
