I asked this fellow photographer to turn around before he went through the boulders, so he gave me a wave.
This was taken at a friends property where we did a 3 km snowshoe lovely terrain and Beautiful views!

I see he is still using the older style snowshoes, they obviously work just as well as the newer ones.

@bella_ss Hi Sheralee the bigger/wider snowshoes work better for making trails in deep snow. This guy often goes in the bush and makes his own trails, unlike this trail that we’re on it has already been packed down. I have the newer snowshoes so I don’t go out making my own trail.....it’s way too hard!! Lol
We are not experiencing -60C thank goodness!!!

That makes sense about those wider snow shoes too. We did find it was hard going to make the trail in the smaller ones.
