The mosquitoes were bad last night but that didn't stop me from running to the backyard and taking this shot! I have missed the last few full moons, so I was happy to photograph this one!
Thank you for the comments and faves on yesterdays's bouquet of flowers, I will be catching up on your photos today!
Gorgeous, worth the biting warriors. Recipe for keeping mos. away from your yard. I tried it, so far after about 3 weeks I've only seen about 3 or 4 of the little creatures and they aren't following me around at all when I'm out gardening or walking around. We are surrounded by woods !!! stir 3 cans of beer, (stir the fizz out of it)
1 large bottle of blue mouthwash, (I used green it was what I could get) 3 cups of Epsom Salt (you can get it in a grocery store usually)
Mix together until salt is dissolved put in sprayer and go outside and start spraying. It isn't harmful to animals or people, nor will it hurt grass or flowers or bushes so the person says. Leaves a nice mint smell. supposed to last 80 days but I'm going to do it again in Aug.
Absolutely beautiful! It was obscured by clouds here but I might have pulled a shot off with my point and shoot- haven't uploaded it yet! This is definitely a fav!!
@sailingmusic Thanks Myrna I will defiantly try this recipe to get rid of the mosquitoes. We have 6 acres so I will concentrate on the area where our gardens are and where we are watering and weeding all the time! :)
