@altadc Thank you. They actually are in the cd player from last year. We don't play this as much as other pieces of equipment. It's not really working too well.
I'm revving up to listen to Handel's 'Messiah' ad infinitum and also King's College Choir's Festival Nine Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve. The first carol is always 'Once in David's Royal City' by one of the choirboys, aged 9-13. The choir director selects one of them at the last minute to prevent any unnecessary nerves.
@olivetreeann Thanks Ann. No I'm not really playing it yet either, but watch out Friday! @craftymeg Yes indeed, it would be. Thanks for commenting. @s4sayer Our organist and choir director is an angolphile and his son went to another state when he was young to sing in a boys' choir. Now his son is a operatic bass. We do sing many of those carols during the Christmas season. However one of my favorites to listen to is the Nutcracker Suite. I've love that since a young girl and have been to see the ballet several times. @pyrrhula Radio is easiest - no records to turn over. The internet, although I can't get the sound as nice as the radio or records, is another easy way to listen to music. Often turn on Pandora.com or accuradio.com and listen while I'm working away at the computer or my desk. @vignouse Thank you Richard.
