I went to a tea party last evening in honor of the new royal baby and her uncle's impending wedding. The ladies who attended can sure cook. This is lemon curd made by my friend Karen. Thought it looked pretty elegant on my friend Elsie's tablecloth which her grandmother made.

I'm with Rick...a sucker for lemons. The tablecloth is lovely. Somewhere(?) I’ve got something with the same design, although much smaller. Worked by my paternal grandmother, I think.

I studied the tablecloth carefully just in case I'd like to tackle a project like that. @s4sayer It was good. I love lemon things, too. Sweet and sour. I was trying to figure out what sort of thread was used. It appears to be a polished cotton of some sort. I'll bet your tablecloth is lovely. @craftymeg I hope that we did capture something like that. A lot like the lemon pie filling but slightly more creamy. The tablecloth was beautiful.
