My friend's necklace by randystreat

My friend's necklace

A November word was citirine. I thought "where in the world would I see one?". Then a friend of mine wore a beautiful necklace she made. Not only did she do the metal wire work, she also cut the stone. The photo actually doesn't do it justice.
Oh my gosh! She made the entire piece herself, including cutting the stone? How utterly gorgeous! And you did a good job staging it to set it off to its best advantage.

@mcsiegle Thank you Mary. I will tell my firiend of your comments. We were at a bakery and it was on the table. One of my friends stood in front of my to try to block out some of the harsh overhead lighting. I admit, there's a bit of post processing. Just to give it the umph it deserved.
@summerfield Thank you so much Vicki. Me and my cell phone and Lightroom. But I certainly had good material to start with.
