Monochromatic rhododendrons

Nice black and white. It shows off the more flowery parts of these blossoms. The details at the center are beautiful.

Fabulous! I had to google rhododendron vs azalea, because we had rhododendrons growing up, but azaleas here. Rhodos have 10 stamen and Azaleas have 5, other than that, they are pretty much the same.

@olivetreeann Thank you Ann. I played with several b&w versions and for similar reasons chose this one.
@homeschoolmom Thanks Lisa. Around here, most of the azaleas have smaller leaves than the rhododendrons. I have seen the larger blooms and leaves on azaleas closer to the coast. I did think they were related. I also wondered about a shrub that grows in our mountains here, Mountain Laurel, and wondered too if it was related to the other two, but no, it is not.
@ziggy77 Thank you Jo.
@s4sayer Thank you so much Margo.
@hajeka Thank you Henk-Jan. I was playing with effect settings on my camera and liked this one.
@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry.
@digitalrn Thanks Rick. Can't take a lot of credit for it as it was done in camera.
@mandygravil Thank you Mandy.
