Cardinal in icy tree

Well, I guess you could say the rain came from clouds, allowing this to fill the prompt of Cloud(s). We had frozen rain during the night and the trees were coated when I got up. Love this red cardinal in the branches.

@olivetreeann @Dawn Thank you Ann and Dawn. I really love cardinals. They remind me of my mother.

@stevepo Thanks Steve. I think that's what I love about cardinals in the winter time. They contrast nicely with the winter weather.

@fbailey I always think about birds when they perch on icy wires and branches.
