Oh gosh Kathy, that is exactly what I’m doing now. It is soooo hot outside and I was dripping wet doing some planting. Came in to get some water and decided to check on 365 friends!
@jb030958 I spent about 45 minutes in all out there and quit. @fbailey Thank you Felicity. @bkbinthecity It's about time. You've had a cold winter and spring. @tosee Thank you Tom @s4sayer Thank you Margo. And yes, there are two gloves there. @wakelys Haha! Susan. No it's water.
Hi Kathy, we are get-pushed partners this week. It looks like you are having some wonderful weather there with your hat, gloves and water. I thought a fun challenge might be to photograph some shadows as you are out in your beautiful garden.
My veggie and flower seeds finally came in on Friday so I will be out planting tomorrow!
I ordered mine back in the middle of March and hoped to start some of the flowers but had to buy extra seeds to do that.
@summerfield That which you see is not my yard, and is actually the backyards of two of my neighbors. My garden is about 130 degrees to the right of this table. @pyrrhula I think I got a lot of it done today (the tomorrow from this photo). It's supposed to rain so I'll plant seeds when the soil is damper. @tunia Thanks Tunia. This was my husband's hat and it is a wide brimmed and tall crowned hat. Not too bad because it doesn't fit that close. It also has a cord that can be cinched up to my chin if I want. @olivetreeann Yes. Did better today. A bit cooler especially when the clouds floated over. @mcmary I sure hope so Mary. Depends on whether the seeds come up (after I plant them.) @farmreporter I'm late doing this, but we did have temperatures in the low to mid 30's (F) last week. @digitalrn You're right. I think in the past three days I've drank more water than I did the week before. @pusspup Haha! Water. It wouldn't do for me to try to garden and drink gin too. I'd probably fall in a heap in the middle of the garden and not be able to get out. @mccarth1 Yes. Tired and hot and the breeze feels good cooling the wet head. @craftymeg Thank you Margaret. @hajeka Thank you Henk-Jan. Your garden is much more established than mine, I believe, so perhaps you won't have to do so much digging of weeds. @thewatersphotos You are so right Gary. I can get too hot easily because I don't do real well in the heat. The table and water are in the shade and the wind has been blowing (since February) so it cools me off too. @santina Thank you very much Santina.
@sandradavies I will do my best to get some decent shadows. I thought I had one yesterday, but before I could get my camera and get out to take it, it was gone.
@sandradavies I'm afraid I will not be able to get garden shadows in time for this week's challenge. We have had so much rain! And the sun hasn't been out when it hasn't been raining., except for a brief time this morning, when I was back in the garden trying to finish up my bed. I was too dirty to use my camera, although I did have it with me. I will continue to attempt to get something for this challenge even though it will be late. I apologize.
@fbailey Thank you Felicity.
