Clue 1 finished

On July 1, I posted the yarn and pattern for a knit along I was beginning. I finished Clue 1 this past Sunday but this is the first chance to post a photo of the first section finished.

Well, I don't know what it's going to be but I'm certain it's going to be really pretty with those colors!

@homeschoolmom @olivetreeann Thank you Lisa and Ann. It's called Festival of Stitches shawl. It was written to be a knit along. Some friends and I decided we were going to knit it that way. Not everyone's finished the first clue, so it will be a while before i get to knit the next section.

@randystreat Well, now I know my instincts were right- it is definitely going to be pretty!

I hadn't heard of mystery knitting with clues before I read your first post. It's a great idea. I love the red bobbles in the design. Could this be a hood due to its shape? I hope you get started on the next clue soon! Good luck!l

This is a great shot, Kathy! I will have questions on Thursday afternoon because it’s too complicated for me to do here!

This will be a good stay-cool-inside project.

@serendypyty Thanks Cazzi. It's not a hood. It's actually the center of an oblong - more of a wrap than a shawl. The reminder of the knitting will come out from the stitches on the needle and the center is a triangle. You'll see more eventually.
@bkbinthecity Thank you Brian.
@haskar Thank you very much Haskar.
@wakelys Thanks Susan. I am too. I wish the others would hurry up but understand why they might not be finished yet.
@pusspup It is nice to chat about it, although only two of us had started the last time we talked.
@grammyn Thanks Katy. Ask away.
@thewatersphotos Thanks Gary. I was pleased with my color choices and had second thoughts when I started knitted the cranberry colored rows. I think it will turn out fine.
@craftymeg Thank you Margaret. It was a bit hard for me to imagine the colors because I had to order the yarn on line.
@tunia Yes, it is Tunia. Thanks.

All I know is that you are super talented Kathy! This looks so complicated, but you have made it sound easy. Pretty color combo too.
