Salty 'n Sweet by randystreat

Salty 'n Sweet

These truly are grains of sugar and salt, but they look exactly the same. After I took this, I thought of many other more "photogenic" ways I could have set this up, but hey. It's Sunday afternoon. A time of rest and relaxation. Perhaps a good book. Not taking it over.
Very clever. I think the first take is fine!

Hope you didn't muddle them up with thrir containers. Sugar on chips and salt in tea both rather horrid!

@mcsiegle Thanks Mary.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond No fear, Jackie. They were in packets from a restaurant and I threw them away when I was through with them.

It's a good job you labelled them as they really do look similar. It's a clever idea and made a great addition to your month of S words.

I thought of both sugar and salt but couldn't think of a way to photograph either so didn't bother. I think you've done a great job.

Thank you everyone. I appreciate your comments. Just happened to see the pack of condiments sitting in the cupboard. My DH used to save everyone he ever got. Handy on trips, but none of those planned any time soon.

@carolmactx I think I've photographed sugar before with my macro lens. But I think that sugar had a bit larger crystal. Perhaps it's because these are packets that come with take out. Makes me understand why it takes so much sugar to sweeten a cup of take out coffee.
